Bus lines around the lagoon
Line 43 — Cartagena ⇄ La Manga
Movibus line run by ALSA. Direct departures roughly hourly from Cartagena bus station between 08:00 and 21:00 on weekdays, with a slower 'por pueblos' service calling at Cabo de Palos and the La Manga strip.
Line 47 — San Pedro del Pinatar ⇄ Cartagena
Movibus line linking San Pedro del Pinatar, San Javier, Santiago de la Ribera, Los Alcázares, Los Narejos and Cartagena, with around 29 stops along the lagoon shore.
Coastal shuttles — Cabo de Palos ⇄ San Pedro
ALSA regional services connect Cabo de Palos, Santiago de la Ribera, San Javier and San Pedro del Pinatar, plus Cartagena to Los Alcázares. Frequencies increase in July and August.
Airport bus — Murcia ⇄ RMU Corvera ⇄ Cartagena
Interbus runs the official airport line to Murcia (San Andrés station), and since April a daily Murcia–Airport–Cartagena service. There is no scheduled bus between Murcia and Alicante airports — use a taxi or private transfer.

- CartagenaEstación de Autobuses — the terminus for lines 43 and 47 and connections to Murcia.
